09 - Woodbine Cemetery

f/8, 1/100, ISO400, 105mm
So I was going for dreary with this shot but fear I ended up with lifeless. I cooled the white balance a bit and then tried to take any strong colors out. I really wanted to capture how the place might look through the eyes of a person who has just lost someone. Not my favorite picture but it is my number 9 shot.

maybe it was too sunny of a day for dreary, but i like how you took the strong colors out. spooky:)

maybe more of a focal point would be good. but i do feel lost when i look at it.

Great October picture..I've been noticing the graveyards around our area too thinking about taking a picture. I liked your vision of wanting to capture the cemetery through the eyes of someone who just lost a loved one.

Yeah so looking at the picture this morning i realize the picture is a bit dark. Maybe a bit underexposed. I agree that there should be a focal point too. Yeah overall not my best. Sorry I'll try to impress with the next shot. But I would really like to get a good cemetery shot at some pooint. Maybe next time there is a good fog!
